The body, cut from high-grade mahogany, comes loaded with DBZB/DBZ5 pickups with Coil Tap. The set mahogany neck is shaped to Dean Zelinsky’s signature profile known for it’s extreme comfort and speed. The Barchetta ST produces a warm, thick, clearly defined tone making it a suitable choice for all styles of music, particularly Rock, Blues & Metal.

• String Thru

  A classic design, the DBZ String Thru models what is often considered the pinnacle of sustain. Our String Thru design with Tune-O-Matic bridge provides for amazing performance and feel, with string thru patterns enhancing the look of your guitar.

• DBZ Custom Pickups

  DBZ Guitars spent countless hours refining their signature custom pickups. The R15 provides hot output while retaining singing highs, aggressive harmonics, and most importantly, clarity and tone.The N9C provides late-’50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sounds with arm and crystalline clean tones. Full and bright distorted tones. The R15S makes minor modifications to the R15 for a different feel while retaining output and the R11 provides less aggressive, but punchy, more classic gain tones. For earlier models, note that the DBZB / DBZ5 pickups are the same as the R15/N9C.

• Grover Tuners

  Often considered the world’s finest tuning machines, the Grover tuners are a triumph in engineering and style. The housing provides a maximum bearing for worm gear and string post and designed to eliminate backlash and slippage. Countersunk tension tension screw permits players to regulate turning tension to any degree. Gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.

• Contoured Set Neck

  DBZ’s Contoured Set Neck method is arguably the most popular neck joint style amongst high-end electric guitars. The set neck is carefully cut to match its mounting point on the guitar body and the two sections are joined to maximize strength and minimize neck wiggle. Most notable is the amazing feel of the neck joint when you need it most – near the highest frets. Our contour feels fast, comfortable and as if the neck joint isn’t even there.
